Assertiveness is all about being clear
about your needs, at the same time keeping in mind the needs and wants of others. Sometimes, in order to please
others, we do not mention our needs properly, but this could not lead you
anywhere. When you are assertive, you stand a better chance of getting what you
need, or at least reaching out to a middle ground where both parties are
equally satisfied.
