VJIM Hyderabad hosted its 16th alumni meet on 21st February 2016

Vignana Jyothi Institute ofManagement, Hyderabad conducted the 16th annual alumni meet on 21st February, 2016 where alumni from all across India came down to interact with their friends, faculty and juniors to reconnect with their alma matar.

The auditorium was filled with excitement, conversations, laughter and energy in the morning of 21st February. A lot is known about an institution through its alumni and the annual meet indeed said a lot about the principals and mission on which VJIM- the leading B-school of Hyderabad is pivoted on. The 2000+ alumni network of the school does not only have to do with successful business leaders in the industry but reflects a lot on the kind of leaders that the school has created thus far. With socially responsible managers and entrepreneurs making for the audience, 21st February turned out to be a fabulous day for everyone- including the current students of PGDM who got a chance to network with their seniors and get more industry scoops and perspectives.

A lot of alumni were invited to take the stage in order to share their special moments that they associate with VJIM, Hyderabad.Some shared their experiences at their jobs whereas others talked of their entrepreneurial journey.The alumni body discussed on the idea of having an Alumnisexecutive committee in order to discuss on the proceedings of the school and mentor the juniors more efficiently. The gathering also brainstormed on making the Executive Council responsible for registering the VJIM Alumni Association under the provisions of Telangana Societies Registration Act and presenting alumni web portal for effective interaction.

Dr. Kamal Gosh Ray, Director, VJIM Hyderabad elected few alumni of the college for bearing the offices of the executive council. Mr. John has been elected as the President of the committee with Mr. Shrenik Patel as the Vice President, Ms. Swati as Secretary and Ms. Jefia as the Treasurer.
The event also had few performances by the current students of VJIM taking the alumni on a walk down the memory lane.

The program formally came to end with an amazing lunch. The meet assured an action packed future with promises to bounce back with proper initiatives and action plans in order to give back more to the college, its alumni and its students.
